All holsters and accessories are made from a material called Kydex®, which is a very tough, highly chemical resistant thermo set polymer.

The benefits, and attributes of Kydex®: 
Allow for design improvements in holsters that other materials (such as leather or nylon) cannot offer.  The main advantage is in the retention system that our holsters have.  Primary retention comes from a depression in the trigger guard area, which produces a positive, 'snap in' feel. It is not a friction based retention system. Another advantage to Kydex® is the fit of the holster. Our design minimizes the contact points between the gun and holster, which results in a very smooth feel when presenting, and holstering the weapon. Also, due to the rigidity of Kydex®, the holster will not collapse or hang up on the weapon during re-holstering or a crucial transition.  All holsters incorporate a unique trigger guard retention system, eliminating the need for straps or snaps to secure the firearm. The holster will not collapse when the gun is drawn.

The hardware we use...  
To achieve the adjustable retention is an extremely strong aluminum post with a black anodized stainless steel oval Phillips headed screw is more user friendly.  We also use rubber washers to achieve the adjustable retention.
