"Da Brown's"
Hello! This business started out as a hobby, and as a way for David to make his own
holsters. Once closer acquaintances, and his friends saw his work, they
would request their own custom holster. David spent a lot of time doing
research during that time. In approximately six months time, through word of mouth, and reputation,
this hobby has grown into a successful small business. Where he currently sells to six
stores in our state of Arizona. Since this website was created, he's been
able to supply business to other states as well. David also enjoys competition shooting,
which he has his very good, and few bad days at. He has made numerous
friends with this hobby, including friends in his church.

Rebecca & Brigham

These
are our children. Rebecca who will be 10 in Oct., & Brigham who turned
8, back in March. They are our pride and
joy. They are of course the best kids in the world! What else can we
say! ha ha Actually, Becky really loves to read, and is an excellent
creative story writer. She amazes me with her abilities. She
is a huge bug lover! She's loved them since she was around 3 or 4. We can't keep her away from looking for them outside!
If you stumble upon a bug you are unsure of, she will be right there to tell you
the bug's name, and about all the research she has studied or learned about it
on her own. We have an agreement
that she doesn't bring the bugs to me, if she finds them! ha ha She
"currently" plans to be an entomologist,
when she gets older. I think it just might happen. She, and her
brother also love all the new boy, and girl music bands that are out
there. Like Christina, Britney, and Nsync, BBB, etc. Becky loves
playing at her friend Felicia's house. Her parents are close friends of
ours, and we spend a lot of time together.
Brigham loves
to do just about anything. He loves spending time with his Dad, helping out as
much as he can with the holsters. He can create the most awesome space
ships, air planes, castles, etc, with his smaller legos. Brigham is really easy going, just like his sister!
They are both great kids, and actually get along well for the most part. They love to help around the house when they
can, and still enjoy spending family time together! I hope that lasts
forever!! :) Brigham & Rebecca both make us very proud, and we
love them dearly!

Here is Brigham showing off the holster, his daddy made him, for
his toy gun. He really loves it, as well as his play phone holster that is just
like Mommy & Daddy's cell phone!

Spaz

This is Spaz,
our family cat. We think he's 9 years
old. He's such a
easy going, and cool cat. He's loyal like a dog, the way he comes when you call
him. And he's definitely a lap cat! He has never tried to harm my
two birds, which I had before adopting him from a friend, four years ago!
He's awesome! In fact, we laughed our heads off, when for the first and
last time (so far), we've ever heard him hiss, or get really upset about
anything... He hissed, raised his back hair, and darted, at a cat that
came to our security door, looking to fight.. It was funnier then
anything!
Peeper

This is Peeper, my male cockatiel, that's 6 years old. I've had him
since he was a baby. David & I would take turns hand feeding him until
he was able to feed himself. It was a fun time. He's pretty close to
me. Peeper loves to talk and to bop his head up and down to the beat of
music, when we have the stereo on.
Precious

Next, let me introduce Precious, my female cockatiel, that is 5 years
old. She was a gift to me on Mother's Day in 96. I was able to go
and pick her out, but the funny thing was... she traveled in a small little box,
with air holes, and when we got her home, I realized that she had white on her
wings, and the one I had picked out didn't. I'm glad the lady made the
accident when she picked her because the first day I had her home,
she was a little lover from the beginning. She just loves attention, and to have
her little faced stroked. She will let you hold her in your hand however
you want, and will bow her face down, and cuddle to your face. It's the
cutest thing. Precious had came down with an infection
at the time of these photos. She has since then, been treated and is doing much
better! :)

Buddy
After Precious came Buddy.
We got him in Feb. of 2002. He is the lutino, white/light
yellow. Boy what a character! He is the most
playful, and active little dare devil bird I have ever seen! We get hours
of amusement out of this one. Just take a seat and watch the show
begin. He is going almost all day, taking little time to stand
still. He enjoys hanging upside down like a bat. He likes to
carefully climb to the top of his cage, and then swings from toy to toy, and
will actually scream out loud, if he loses his balance and is falling or if he
gets upset. He
is scared of the dark, and gives out a little squeak when the lights go out at
night. We often play with him for a while...turning the lights off, and on again
just to see if we'll get a reaction out of him. He really has a
personality. We often call him bully bird, because he seems to take over
the cage, and when he gets near the other birds, they quickly get out of his
way. Luckily again, he is also very tame, and loves lots of attention from
us humans.

"Punky"
The most recent to be arriving will be Punky. It is an
"Indian Ring Neck" and is still being hand fed by our neighbors and
needs to learn to eat seed well before it is given to us. I have been
going over almost daily to see it. Holding it and giving it lots of
attention so that when it comes home it will already know me. It is a real
cuddler and I'm told if I keep giving it lots of attention, it will continue to
be receptive to lots of love when it gets older too. So we're very
anxiously awaiting to bring this little bird home so we can get to know more
about it's personality. I will post more pictures as it gets older.
Well,
we hope you've enjoyed visiting our family page!
